Healing Plots - The Narrative Basis of Psychotherapy

This edited text examines the construction and reconstruction of narrative identities within the context of therapy.  A diverse group of scholars has each contributed a chapter on various aspects of the healing process involving life storytelling and re-telling.  through rich clinical examples, themselves healing narratives, the authors vividly illustrate the process of negotiating narrative conflict and complexity. Likewise, the relationship between identity formation, reformation, and narrative is discussed.
